The On Color Guard system is made up of 4 separate programs:
- Basic Flag & Movement
- Basic weapon
- Advanced Flag & Movement
- Advanced Weapon
Each one promotes growth and development of skills and knowledge through the five-box system of learning/judging. Each program includes:
Instructional DVD: Each video contains many exercises for developing skills needed for choreography in color guard performance.
Detailed Handbook: Each handbook is full of illustrations and more information regarding the Five-Box system of learning/judging, skills presented in the videos, and other information.
Practice/Progress Manual: Each manual guides students daily, like a journal on points of study and practice from the video and handbook.
Spaces are provided for logging times of practice, as well as self and instructor evaluation of progress. Instructors can give specified instruction to the variation of each skill as they teach it within their own style and interpretation. |
